The highly anticipated iniBuilds Airbus A350 is set to launch exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with the release expected by the end of 2024. Originally planned for MSFS 2020, iniBuilds decided to focus solely on the newer platform to leverage its improved capabilities, allowing for a more detailed and feature-rich model. This A350 release will include both the -900 and -1000 variants. However, exact release dates have yet to be confirmed, with more updates anticipated from iniBuilds in the coming months.
The upcoming iniBuilds Airbus A350 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024) promises a highly realistic experience, combining extensive visual and operational details aimed at immersion. Key features include:
1.Advanced Maintenance and Wear: Players can perform maintenance checks through an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), inspecting engine interiors and openable cowlings. Dynamic weathering is also implemented, so over time, the aircraft shows paint peeling, dirt accumulation, and grime on various surfaces, which can be managed as part of the maintenance system  .
2.Detailed Cockpit and Realistic Systems: The cockpit features photorealistic textures with optimized memory usage, aiming to balance visuals and performance. The A350 will include authentic Multi-Function Control and Display Units (MCDU), systems for auto-step climbs, FLS (Final Landing System), and OANS (Onboard Airport Navigation System) with Brake to Vacate functionality. Additionally, a full CPDLC (Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications) system with Hoppie integration is planned, allowing pilots to interact realistically with air traffic control  .
3.Flight Realism: iniBuilds has used real-world A350 simulators and consulted A350 pilots and engineers to fine-tune the flight dynamics. Realistic failures, such as potential GPS jamming or system malfunctions, may also be included for those who seek an extra challenge during their flights .
4.Variants and Additions: The release will feature both the A350-900 and A350-1000 variants, with the ultra-long-range A350-900 ULR to be added later as a free update .
This high-fidelity aircraft aims to leverage MSFS 2024’s advanced capabilities, setting a new standard for realism and immersion in flight simulation.
