FS2024 Confirmed 3rd Party Developers

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024) is designed to ensure compatibility with most third-party add-ons from MSFS 2020, aiming for a smooth transition for developers and users. However, developers have the option to optimize their products to take advantage of new features and enhancements in MSFS 2024, such as improved physics, systems, and graphical fidelity. Some add-ons may require updates or incur small upgrade fees if additional work is done to integrate them fully into the new simulator  .

Microsoft and Asobo have also been in communication with developers, ensuring that the platform remains open and supportive of third-party content. This includes updates to APIs, enhanced modding tools, and improved systems like camera APIs for developers to create more immersive content. However, not all add-ons may be immediately compatible, especially those relying on older systems or unsupported frameworks  .

For users, this means that while most existing content should work, updated versions of certain add-ons may be required to access the full potential of MSFS 2024.

Here is a list with the confirmed developers;
