Salt Lake City International Airport, with the IATA code SLC and ICAO code KSLC, is situated approximately 4 miles to the west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. It serves both military and public aviation needs.
SLC ranks as the 21st busiest airport in the U.S. and the 70th busiest globally, with over 300 daily flights to 90 nonstop destinations. In 2023, the airport recorded a high of 26,952,754 passengers passing through.
The airport features three air carrier runways and a general aviation runway. Runway 16L/34R spans 12,002 feet, runway 16R/34L is 12,000 feet long, runway 17/35 measures 9,596 feet, and runway 14/32 is 4,892 feet long.
A single terminal at the airport houses two concourses linked by an underground tunnel, offering a total of 68 gates for passenger convenience. The general aviation facilities, along with fixed base operators, can be found on the eastern side of the airfield. Cargo companies are situated at the northern end of the airport campus.
