Let's dive into the exciting world of aviation as we discuss the highly anticipated Boeing 757 by BlueBird Simulations. Shervin, the talented director of BlueBird Sim, has recently provided an update to all the MSFS enthusiasts out there regarding the progress of the aircraft. The external part of the plane is now complete, and the dedicated team at BlueBird is shifting their focus towards perfecting the Virtual Cockpit. Shervin has even shared a sneak peek with us, showcasing the plain VC that is currently undergoing final tweaks before the texturing process begins. From the looks of it, the modelling is already impressive, and we can't wait to witness the breathtaking final result once the texturing is complete.
In addition, Shervin mentioned that he has also posted some miscellaneous pictures of the 757 adorned with the United Merger Livery, and the intricate details on the exterior design are truly impressive.
Furthermore, Shervin revealed that there will be another brief video update coming in March, and he excitedly announced that BlueBird Sim will be present at the FS Expo in June, where they will provide a more comprehensive sneak peek about the 757.
Release date
It's still too early to set a release date, but based on the progress of development, we can anticipate a summer or at the latest, an autumn release. Keep in mind that the 757 will be a payware product available for both PC and Xbox, although there will be a few features exclusive to the PC version due to console limitations.
